Instructions
- 1.Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once shimmering, add the sliced cremini mushrooms in a single layer. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the mushrooms are golden brown and tender.
- 2.Pour in the balsamic vinegar, stirring to coat the mushrooms evenly. Continue cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vinegar is mostly absorbed and the mushrooms are glazed. If they start sticking, lower the heat slightly.
- 3.While the mushrooms are cooking, preheat a pan over medium-high heat and drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, place the sourdough slice in the pan and toast for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden and crispy.
