5Simple Tomato and Feta Pasta
This easy pasta dish brings a burst of fresh flavors to your table with minimal effort and simple ingredients.
How to make it
- 1
First, get a pot of salted water boiling for your pasta. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until it is al dente.
- 2
While the pasta cooks, mince your garlic cloves. In a large skillet, warm a little olive oil if you like, then add the minced garlic and cook gently for about a minute until it smells wonderful. Be careful not to burn it.
- 3
Pour in the can of crushed tomatoes, give it a good stir, and let it simmer for 5 to 7 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. You can add a pinch of sugar here if your tomatoes are a bit tart.
- 4
Once the pasta is almost done, stir in the fresh spinach into the tomato sauce. Let it wilt down for just a minute or two. Then drain your cooked spaghetti, reserving a little pasta water if you want to loosen the sauce later.
- 5
Add the drained spaghetti directly into the skillet with the sauce and spinach. Toss everything together until well coated. Finally, crumble the feta cheese over the top and serve immediately. Enjoy your delicious, simple meal!
