5Pan-Seared Mahi-Mahi with Mango Salsa
This vibrant dish combines flaky pan-seared mahi-mahi with a sweet and tangy homemade mango salsa.
How to make it
- 1
First, prepare your mango salsa. In a small bowl, combine the diced mango, finely diced red onion, fresh lime juice, and chopped cilantro. Stir everything together gently and set aside.
- 2
Pat the mahi-mahi fillets very dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- 3
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Once hot, add a swirl of oil if desired. Place the mahi-mahi fillets in the pan.
- 4
Sear the fillets for 3 to 4 minutes per side, depending on thickness, until they are golden brown and flake easily with a fork.
- 5
Carefully transfer the cooked mahi-mahi to plates. Top each fillet with a generous spoonful of your fresh mango salsa. Serve immediately and enjoy.
