Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a medium baking dish.

Cut your chicken breasts into bite sized pieces. You can either cook them lightly in a pan first until just opaque, or place them raw in the baking dish. If cooking first, drain any excess liquid.

Steam or blanch the broccoli florets for about 3 to 5 minutes. You want them tender crisp, not mushy. Drain them well.

In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese with the minced garlic. Stir until smooth. Add about half of the shredded cheddar cheese to this mixture and stir again.

Arrange the chicken pieces and broccoli florets evenly in the prepared baking dish. Pour the cream cheese mixture over everything. Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top.
